ik heb vodafone lite geïnstalleerd voor de usb stick die je kon kopen bij belgacom

stick detecteert network - groen licht knippert

sim kaart geïnstalleerd en actief

drivers en software zijn geïnstalleerd en 2 icons op desktop : vod.connect en sms

als je deze wil starten gebeurd er echter niets - geen toepassing die geopend wordt..

in devices zie ik de modem en kan query doen - alles ziet er goed uit

alles verwijdert en opnieuw gestart - zelfde resultaat

iemand enig idee

Dit vond ik terug:

First ensure that your card is activated, which is the case if you have obtained it from one of our Teleboutiques. If you received your card by post, the activation can take longer.

• Insert your "SIM card" in your "Vodafone Mobile Connect USB" modem (or in your laptop if it has an integrated 3G modem)
  
• Plug the "Vodafone Mobile Connect USB" modem into the USB port of your portable PC
  
• The installation will start automatically (if it does not, click the "Start" menu of your computer, and then your "Desktop" and double-click the "VMC Lite" icon. Under Vista, click the "Computer" icon on the homepage of your PC)
  
• Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
  
• Reboot your PC*
  
• Click the "Vodafone Mobile Connect" icon on the homepage of your PC
  
• Enter the "PIN code" of your SIM card
  
• Click the "Connection" button (the available mobile network (2G/3G/3G+/GPRS) is detected automatically)
  
• Open your usual "Internet browser" or your "messaging" program.
  

The LEDs of your USB modem indicate your network connection status:

Blinking green : a GPRS network (2G) is found and the USB modem is ready to connect.

Solid green : connected to a GPRS network (2G); data is sent and received.

Blinking blue : a UMTS network (3G) is found and the USB modem is ready to connect.

Solid blue : connected to a UMTS network (3G)

*Note: When the computer is rebooting, you must unplug the modem from the USB port. Always be sure to reinsert the modem into the same USB port; this way you won't have to reinstall the software program every time you use it.

Je moet dus als je de PC moet herstarten de modem verwijderen en als je PC terug opgestart is altijd de modem in de zelfde USB- poort terug inpluggen

this is the procedure I followed and did not resolved the problem

even uninstalled - boot - installed - boot = same problem

Je mag gewoon in het Nederlands antwoorden hoor.

De tip die ik gevonden heb stond in het Engels, vandaar.

Doe je onderstaande altijd?

Je moet dus als je de PC moet herstarten de modem verwijderen en als je PC terug opgestart is altijd de modem in de zelfde USB- poort terug inpluggen

ja dat heb ik gedaan - zelfde slot -

boot - stick erin - connect oproepen

soms krijg ik deze boodschap - zie bijlage

Zelf ben ik er geen gebruiker van en heb er geen ervaring mee.
