Support bijkopen, zin of onzin

Hallo,

Onze Dell Inspiron 1525 is drie jaar oud. Nu mailt Dell ons of we support willen bijkopen, 1 jaar voor 90, 2 jaar voor 120 euro. Heeft iemand ervaring, een tip, idee, suggestie. Heeft het zin of is het onzin?

Wat houdt die "support" in?

met andere woorden wat voor support krijg je, en belangrijkste misschien welke voorwaarden staan erbij ( de kleine letters)?

Het gaat om pure hardware support en dit is wat ze melden:

Voor die support die ze je aanbieden zou ik zelf niet betalen.
