Windows mail

Na het verwijderen van sommige berichten wil ik ze definitief verwijderen.

In verwijderde berichten staat geen aantal meer opgegeven maar er staan nog 48 berichten in met de tekstHet bericht kan niet worden weergegeven.

Windows Mail heeft een onverwacht probleem ontdekt bij het weergeven van dit bericht. Controleer of er voldoende geheugen en schijfruimte op de computer vrij is en probeer het opnieuw

Wanneer ik klik op verwijderen komt er Er is een fout opgetreden en een link communities raadplegen. Ik kan echter geen link openen. Hoe krijg ik die berichten weg??

Ik vond dit bij een collega site, is in het engels, indien u dit niet begrijpt laat het even weten dan vertaal ik dit graag in het nederlands:

1. Close Windows Mail if open, then: (to make sure all of it's processes are completely closed)

A) Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc together. (to open Task manager)

Click Processes tab.

C) Click Show processes from all users button. (bottom left)

D) If WinMail.exe is listed, then:

NOTE: If not listed, close Task Mananger and go to step 2.

E) Click on WinMail.exe to highlight it.

F) Click End Process button.

G) OK any confirmations.

2. Open Start Menu.

3. In the white line (Start search) area, type Windowsmail.MSMessageStore

NOTE: You should only see 2 instances listed (at top) per e-mail account. If you have more than one e-mail account, then right click on the Windowsmail.MSMessageStore's and click properties to see which e-mail account they belong to.

4. Right click and Delete each instance for the e-mail account giving you problems. Delete all instances if you are having problems with all of your e-mail accounts.

NOTE: If for some reason you can't find the Windowsmail.MSMessageStore files in the search, then make sure you have Show hidden files & folders checked in Folder Options (Control Panel or Tools menu in explorer) and delete them manually.

---1. C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail

---2. C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\

Backup\New

5. Restart Windows Mail.

6. Windows Mail will now rebuild your MessageStore.

7. If you have message rules that were tied to a folder that you added (ex: another folder under Inbox), you will need to add that folder again and adjust your message rule (move to) to that folder again.

8. You problematic message(s) should now be gone or be able to be deleted now. If not, then you need to do the Reset Windows Mail below.

TIP: It is also reported that having the Empty deleted messages when exiting helps in preventing problems in your Delete folder.

---1. Click Tools. (In Windows Mail)

---2. Click Options.

---3. Click Advanced tab.

---4. Click Maintenance button. (bottom right)

---5. Check Empty messages from the 'Deleted Items' folder on exit.

---6. Click Close and then click OK to apply.
